Step 1: Download and Install Cam Manager
Before you can begin setting up your Diamante Body Worn Camera, you'll need to download and install the Cam Manager software on your computer. Visit the official website to download the latest version compatible with your operating system.
Step 2: Connect Your Camera
Turn on your Diamante Body Worn Camera and connect it to your computer using the provided USB cable. Ensure that the camera is charged and functioning properly before proceeding.
Step 3: Launch Cam Manager
Once the software is installed, launch Cam Manager. The software will automatically detect the connected camera.
There are 2 user types:
(1) General User: This mode allows for viewing and downloading media files only. The default password is: 000000
(2) Administrator: This mode allows for changing device settings as well as viewing and downloading media files. The default password is: 888888
Step 4: Configure Camera Settings
Now, it's time to configure the camera settings according to your needs. In the 'Settings' tab, you can adjust parameters such as video resolution, frame rate, and audio settings. For law enforcement, you might want to set the highest video quality for evidence collection.
Step 5: Test Your Camera
After configuring all the settings, it's essential to test your camera to ensure everything is working as expected.. Make any necessary adjustments and retest until you're satisfied with the results.
